Proofing and Editing

With all the contributors contacted, all contracts from those whose pieces will be included have been finalised.

The hardworking editing team will be proofreading a section at time over the next two weeks. Its envisaged that very minor tweaks will occur during this time - a comma here, a spelling alteration there.  No alterations or changes will be made without contacting the contributors.

All contributors ( poets and authors) will be contacted with a proof copy of their piece to check.  Simple, easy and silly things are often missed - so make sure you check the title and name!

A quick turn around and response ensures we stay on track with our deadlines.

A final draft copy of the entire anthology will be emailed to every contributor before it goes to publication - once again to ensure we have many eyes on all the pages to pick up mistakes which have been glossed over.

We hope to be on track to distribute the Anthology through Kindle in June, with a physical book available  at the end of September.

New Sunrise

One of our contributors is also a keen photographer and wanted to share some beautiful photos she took at sunrise and sunset over a beach.

The youtube clip is something Lisa put together for a wider audience, but has granted us use of it.  The music is by Keane from the album "Hopes and Fears" - which she has utilised via the copyrights in youtube.( see the original clip for full details)

New Sun Rising - like a Phoenix - begins its ascension into 2012

Dear Contributors, Volunteers and  Supporters


There is a small group involved with the project who feel strongly that this book must go ahead, not only on behalf of the contributers, but more importantly to honour the initial aims of this charity anthology.


We have been able to collect the email addresses for most of the submitted fiction, haiku and poetry and are still searching for contact details of any contributing artists whose work had been selected. 


We will be emailing you with a contract and would be most grateful for your attention and speedy return reply with this.  After a long rest - we'd like to get this project completed, raise money for our intended charity and be able to forward it on to them in as quick a timeframe as we can.


We are looking into publishing avenues - kindle etc, and POD and will keep those involved in the loop via this blog.
